2476: 11 THOU GUITAR STRING WIRE FOR MAKING ALEX JACKSON COUPLINGS

11 thou (0.28mm) steel wire (guitar string) for forming Alex Jackson Couplings. Approximately 980mm in length, enough for about 10 couplings (5 vehicles).

Jigs to make the correct bends and angles for these couplings are available as MJT 2478, 2471, 2472 and 2473. A complete kit with everything necessary to form Alex Jackson Couplings for coach bogies, including this wire, is available as MJT 2479.

Can also be used as a supply of strong, springy, flexible and thin (0.85in diameter at 1:76 scale) steel wire.
